Hi, just wondring if anyone can give me some advice. My son is 5months next week. he has started waking up every hour to feed...hes EBF. He used to only wake up once since he has been born.....

I have tried the 'crying it out' method....but he wouldnt stop crying even after an hour so i gave him a feed....(not the best thing to do when u r trying that method i knw....)

He is teething at the moment, but i think he just wakes up to feed for comfort.... Help[/b]
We EBF at that age too!

The actual CIO method as far as I have read is done a bit differently than what you're describing. (Not that I encourage CIO, especially at 5 months because of teething and/or a growth spurt.) He is likely just needing extra cuddle time because of discomfort. If you don't want to co-sleep, you could try rocking your baby, some massage, and/or I always encourage chiropractic adjustments. I know growth spurts and teething are tough but it will end. Good luck and keep us posted.
