It makes sense only because just like us, it takes babies 20 minutes to realize they are full so if she is drinking it faster than 20 minutes, she is going to keep drinking because her belly doesn't feel full. A lot of time Max will eat and cry for a few minutes after he drinks his bottle because he doesn't realize he is full yet. After 5 minutes he is completely settled. I've tried a few times giving him more thinking he was really hungry but he just ended up spitting it all up again. I would go back to the slow flow and see how much she drinks and judge it by that. If she is still drinking the 5-7 oz then it has nothing to do with the nipple though going back to the slow flow may make her angry, you may need to find the medium or poke a bigger hole in the slow flow.
