Well I went to the Dr Feb 12th because I thought I had a UTI and found out that I have diabeties and my sugar levels were way to high and I am now having a life style change so I can lose some weight and get healthy so I can start TTC again.
So far I am having to quit drinking sweet tea

and Diet coke
NO potatos, pasta, rice, bread or anything with a lot of carbs
So now all my fav foods are gone but I am hoping that this will result in some faster weight loss because I have a goal and I am SET on losing the weight.
As of 2-14 I have already lost 6 pounds !! I am amazed that I have lost that much in just 2 days
Today 2-17 I got on the scale today and I have lost 10# I am super excited!!
It has been a hard few days but I have stuck to my diet. No sweet tea no Coke no carbs and nothing I am not supposed to have.
It is really not as easy as I thought it would be between DH making a choc cake and smelling it all night and the girls valentine candy I have to say I am happy that I ate none of it.
I am thinking that my sugar levels are too low now. I am still taking this med and I am having a lot of headaches and staying really tired a few hours after I take the pills. I skipped one yesterday morning and I tell you all day I felt great till I took my pill at bedtime then I got super tired again. I am supposed to get my meter today and I will be able to check my sugar and see how much lower it is and be able to know if it is too low.
