I'm not amazingly fond of DH's name preferences, and he's not amazingly fond of mine. Alexandria is on our final list because DH really likes it; same with Nicole for a MN. I don't hate the names, but they aren't really my style, and they aren't names I would pick if I was a single mom or something. I told DH he can have one or the other, but not both. So she won't be Alexandria Nicole, but she could be Ariadne Nicole or Alexandria Michaela.

I'm not super in love with the name Michaela, but it's more DH's style, and I have a very important person in my life named Michael. DH's best friend is named Michael, and my best friend's middle name is Michael (as is his dad's middle name), AND DH's little brother's middle name is Michael. So the name works for us from lots of different angles.

I wouldn't use a name I hated (otherwise Luke's middle name would be Donald), but I'll consider names that DH loves, even though they may not be my top choice. It's his kid too, after all.
