That I don't want to be induced.
When I was induced with DS, he was a big baby and six days overdue, so even though my body seemed no where near ready to deliver (1cm and 10% effaced, I think?), they induced me anyways. It wasn't a bad experience exactly.. I got an epidural and stayed in bed for 12 hours. Everything went smoothly, no complications, etc, which I was very grateful for.
But this time around I'd like to try a natural birth. I really want to go into labor on my own, labor at home, feel my water break, all that stuff everyone talks about happening. Also, if I'm induced when I'm not really again, I'll be strapped to a bed with a pit IV for a long time, which isn't what I want. I want to be able to get up and walk around the room, walk the halls, etc. I don't want to be stuck in bed the whole time feeling like a beached whale because I can't move or feel the lower half of my body. It's just not what I want, and if I get induced it's what I'm going to get.
Granted.. there's a high chance I'll be induced at 42 weeks anyways, because my body doesn't seem to realize I'm not an elephant. But I'd like to at least TRY to get there on my own.
