There are a couple of reasons why milk is more plentiful in the morning. You are resting at night so your body can focus on making milk rather than using energy to move. Also, between the hours of 12-5ish am, your prolactin levels are at their highest. Prolactin is the hormone that produces milk. Not sure the reason why it is the highest then except that it has something to do w/ so many hours of rest, if I remember correctly.
