Honestly, I think all the alternative spellings just look mispelled. I prefer the original spelling. I really dislike it when people take names that are 2000 years old and try and modernize them somehow - spelling / pronunciation, etc. Technically, it's pronounced Ee-fray-im, so the e instead of an a would work, but the i isn't silent.
Though most pronounce it Ee-frim, Ee-frum, ***-rim, or ***-rum.
Just my opinion, of course - spell it however you'd like.
