I had my first shoot yesterday. It went well for the most part. The baby she was 6 weeks old and was sooooo tiny only 8 pounds! I got to hold her and OMG baby fever sank in more. She was a bit colicky/gassy so she was fussy a lot. which made it even harder. the parents wanted me to shoot them with her crying and I didn't want to.
But I'm sooo kicking myself! I didn't tell them to move, they were standing in front of my lights. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :'( Grrrrrrrrr. so most of the pictures are dark form shadows, which means lots of PPing. (I think part of it was how I had the studio set up, not much room for them to stand elsewhere and the mom seriously brought in 6 bags of stuff- her purse, diaper bag, her pump, the dads backpack, change of clothes bag, so there was stuff everywhere. I moved my studio the other way now for next time and to ask them to move. (thankfully it was just practice and I learned my big mistake for next shoot this weekend)
Here's one that I have PP'd. (more to come, hard to find time to edit with a crawler who barely naps now

I still have photos to edit from a shoot the weekend before last as well, I feel like I'll never get it all done. Which of course is stressing me out and thinking that I shouldn't try to get into the photo biz if this is how it's going to be, but I want too, man this is so hard, I'm having a mini melt down)
Anyways on to the PP'd fam pic
