Go to User CP (in the pink menu under the post title on this page) then choose edit options from the settings & options part of the left hand menu. Scroll down to the part about messaging and notification. Under the 'default topic subscription mode' part there's a drop down menu. Make sure this is set to whichever email option you prefer (daily, instant etc)
