Oh goodness, I've totally been the same way with both my rainbow babies. Cora also passed overnight (along with Bonnie's reasons, there's also the fact that the mother's blood pressure drops while she's sleeping, so if there's a constriction, it's more likely to become a problem at night because blood can't force its way through as easy)
I never rented a doppler, because I was more afraid of using it at home and NOT getting a heartbeat. What then? What if I was just doing it wrong? (but if you want one, I say go for it!) But I did need constant reassurance. There were times I'd wake up at night with both of them, and get to nearly hysterical sobbing before they would move. So you're not alone in that at all.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I wish that there was a little window into your belly so you could peek in and check on them to make sure everything's okay!
Thanks to babydoll213 for the siggy!
