I used the softshells from 37 weeks on, but they really didn't do much long term. I have had no problems BFing, though. She would latch on to the areola and draw out the nipple, and now my breasts look "normal" all the time for the first time in my life! I was so scared we'd have issues, but we didn't. So it can be done!
