Yea It does happen unfortunately. What I would do if I was you is talk to the daycare worker and let her know that you are really upset about it and that you hope that it doesnt happen again! I would freak out too and I 'd probably balst the daycare worker. I have a bad temper especially when it comes to my sons care!!!! I don't care if they are just kids, they need to learn especially at this age that its NOT OK to hurt someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
