They really didn't give me any reasons as to why outside of the fact that every baby gains weight at a different rate. They said that because the NST tests are fine, her Umbilical dopplers are okay, and her amniotic fluid looks good, that they don't think the weight gain is a problem. He said that normally, a baby in distress shows the signs through low amniotic fluid. It just makes me super mad because to me, a drop-off in percentile should be a clear sign of a problem, regardless of the other indicators. Maybe I am just too paranoid, but we don't really know what happened with Robert. They assumed it was an umbilical cord accident, but there was no specific findings. And I only had 2 ultrasounds with him and they were before 24 weeks, so we don't know what happened in the last 10 weeks. I just hate that they are not making a big deal out of what I feel is something huge. Did any of you girls have a point where your baby measured behind? Either living or stillborn?
