I would just eat to hunger. When I was pregnant I would get hungry half an hour to an hour after eating a big meal. Usually eating something small like a banana was enough to feed that hunger.

As for the prenatals I would stick with just the normal. Just try to eat varied healthy diet, those vitamins are extra on top of what you are already getting out of your food.
