im surprised your doc accepts your chart. i took my charts to my doc when ttcing my dd and he laughed at me and told me that was a bunch of horse poo and i shouldnt waste my time with all this rubbish (what does he know)
my doc is a real *****... i wanna find a new one but i havent started looking yet.
anyway, the met is from my aunt she is a doc and she did some research into met helping with pcod and pcos and she prescribed it to me after i asked for it. my doc would have told me to stay on the pill and suck it up (yeah this is why i didnt have my baby with him... oh and why im looking for a new doc)
so she sent me a whole bunch and i am only taking 1000mg (she said 1500mg but i dont want to push it just yet, i suffered badly with the side effects in the beginning)
if your doc is open to stuff you should ask him about it. maybe take some research to him and let him check it out and maybe he will do more test and even put you on it. most docs check your insulin resistance first and i am NOT IR so no doc would have prescribed it to me, but there is extensive research that shows that it works for pcos suffers without IR.
its alot to understand... hope im not bombarding you with information but if you would like some links to check out give me a shout and ill post some for you.
