I know! Thats what I have been doing...keep trying natural remedies and stuff.

They told me I have to wait cos I was breastfeeding. My periods came back when my daughter was 9mths old. I got pregs (but miscarried) when she was 16-17mths old (and nursing). I started charting, found I had a LPD but had read that MAYBE it was cos of nursing. But around me, online and not, lots of women seemed to be getting pregs even when nursing. I spoke to a breastfeeding counciller who hadn't heard of anyone having this trouble getting pregs. But I knew the docs wouldn't give me Clomid whilst nursing so I waited. My daughter cut down to just two nursings at about 27mths old but my LP never improved at all. Then she stopped completely before my June cycle. My LP didn't gain even an extra day so thats when I had the bloodtests August. My prolactin was normal (thats the one that makes milk and can stop ovulation/cause LPD). And yet the docs said 'we need a longer gap since you stopped nursing'.
Thats 7 cycles I've had now and still my LP is 7-9 days.
Its crazy, but thats docs for you.
I wish I had lied about nursing!

But, oh well, I am onto trying the Soy now. Every cycle I seem to try something new to give me a little hope. Its just so hard! But SURELY 2010 has got to be it! Hasn't it?

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!
