Poor guy! He did try, which is what counts
My DH does okay especially if I tell him what I want. But, sometimes he just doesn't get why women like flowers and such because he is so practical his thinking it "why spend $50 on a dozen roses that are going to die?" I get really upset that he won't get me romantic things like that because he thinks it's a waste of money. DH is also really cheap so he'll get me one thing and be done with it. That's nice and all, but I wasn't raised that way, so I tend to go all out for him and then I end up getting one or two gifts (I'm speaking of Christmas & our anniversary). I just feel like he should put more thought into his gifts. But, he normally does well as far as if I tell him something specific that I want.
