All three of my boys were circ'd in the hospital. My first they used a "ring" that stayed on for a week or so and it eventually fell off. Although my son had no reaction to it at all, I didn't like that way much myself because I was a worry wort everything and this just added one more thing. The other two boys were circ'd the "normal" way....the ped took them into another room did the proceedure and brought them back. They slept for about 6 hours straight (the nurses said that is normal) and everything was fine. Care was easy.
