Hey ladies! I posted here a few months ago when we first met with our new RE, but I figured I'd post again since now I might actually be around a little bit. I used to post here all the time about 3 years ago when we were trying for our first child. For those of you who never read my first introduction (which was in Sept or something), my name is Eva, I am 28 y/o and we have male factor infertility. We conceived our son almost 3 yrs ago ultimately through an IUI cycle with donor sperm. We did a fresh IVF cycle (failed), a frozen IVF cycle (miscarriage), and then we had 1 failed IUI before the 2nd one where we conceived our son, Andrew. He turned 2 in November, so we decided to give it all another shot - except this time we're just skipping all the IVF stuff and trying IUI with the same donor.
We just started our first IUI cycle (first Follistim shot was last night - I didn't miss that stuff at ALL), so I'm really excited to get going at this again. I'm hoping that this time around I won't be as stressed out as I was the first time (I was an emotional wreck the first time around!). First, I know that eventually this stuff can work, so I think I'm starting off a little more optimistically than I did last time. Second, we are already blessed with a wonderful child, so it's really hard to be depressed when you can just look at this little guy who just wants to play with you. Third, I'm in the middle of law school and just don't have the time to obsess like I did last time!
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all a little bit!
