So I heard from the specialist and it will cost between $6200-$6600. Really not bad considering an IVF begins at $10000. We have to pay upfront, though it's possible that I'll be reimbursed from insurance for some or most of the surgery. The doctor does everything tho and all is included in the price, including hotel room, though we are only 3 hours from the office. And, he follows up afterward until we get pg. If we don't get pg, he keeps working with us until we do, for free. He comes highly recommended and is a leading doctor in tubal/infertility issues.

He looked through my health records and said that it's very possible that the HSG was incorrect, especially since they didn't administer muscle relaxers to keep my tubes from spasming. It'll take a couple of months before I can get scheduled. In the meantime, he told us to keep TTC as planned. I feel very confident now and know that one way or the other, we'll get our BFP. Just may take longer than we expected. I can deal with that.
