So I sit here 4 days overdue convinced that I will not go into labor on my own...my cervix is TOO competent!
If I don't go in on my own, I will be induced either this Friday or Monday. I guess we'll see, I just really want to experience contractions at home and be like "this is it, let's time them!" Oh well, whatever happens is how it's supposed to happen. Sorry for my whine!
*Update* - Had my 41 week appointment today. Baby hadn't been moving too much since breakfast and so my doctor sent me for a NST, which turned out just fine after I had a glass of orange juice. I have my induction scheduled for this coming Monday at 7:45am. So looks like there is an end to this if baby doesn't come on his own this weekend! Apparently, my doctor couldn't even check to see how far dilated I am because my cervix is so far pointed towards my back, we're hoping I don't need a c-section.
*Update #2* - Tomorrow's Monday, which means I will be induced tomorrow morning unless I miraculously go into labor my own today (very doubtful!). Thought I'd share a pic of me at 41 weeks! I'm unsure if our hospital has the internet, if not, I will update when we come home with baby
