Non-fertile CM is creamy and whitish. As you get closer to ovulation, the CM may first become clear and watery, then when you are very close to ovulation, it becomes clear, stretchy, and slippery, like egg whites. It is called egg white cervical mucus (EWCM). When you see watery or EWCM, you should BD. After ovulation, your CM will either dry up completely or go back to creamy.
