My son has trouble sleeping but it has typically nothing to do with nightmares. If I do not give him his melatonin he will never sleep. He sleeps with the melatonin but never for long. We are up bright and early daily and as a result he wants to nap at 3/4PM which cannot be done seeing as bedtime is 8PM. It matters not how late the boy stays up or how early he goes down he is still up tons of times during the night/early morning. Sleep is a 4 letter word in my house.
