I'm not sure if the link will work, but go here:

What's For Dinner

login: eskieluvr@hotmail.com
Password aleah0511

Click on Food,
then Create a Cookbook

You'll see:

Logged in as: Justmommies
Your Cookbooks: What's For Dinner

Click on the cookbook name"What's For Dinner" and you can edit from there.

It isn't as user friendly as it could be, but I think it is pretty simple once you familiarize yourself with it.

The book is divided into 4 kid friendly chapters:
breakfast
lunch
dinner
snacks

and
No kids allowed (non-kid friendly recipes for adults go here).

The recipes print per page, so in the interest of space, do "menus" for the breakfast lunch and dinner" chapters. For example for dinner I might do "Spaghetti Pie with Garlic Green Beans" and include the recipes for both.

These chapters aren't definitive, like we could add desserts, or holiday, or even allergy free cooking for Jordan, Jacob, and others with special issues.

Go, add, upload. Lets work on this until the first of November. At that time we'll consider it done, and whoever wants to, can print it out and have a paper copy.

Be sure to add your name, screen name, and names of your children in the notes section.

thats so cool! When I get home I'll add some! :bluecheer:

Yay! I put in a recipe as an example of how I think that will make the most advantage of space. Take a look see and make comments.

I'm making cook books for Christmas, and mine is already 50 pages. Some recipes only take up a little bit of space when printed. Software could definitely be better, but hey, it's free!

Nicole222 August 28th, 2008 01:28 PM

Woo Hoo!!! :bluecheer: I just added some :D

April, it did the same thing to me. But, when I tried it with a lower case "a" it worked.

I see both Manda's and Nicole's recipes. Those granola squares look yummy!

Lindsey, don't you have a yummy thai recipe you've posted about before?

Is someone willing and able to do a search through our posts for recipes we've already posted?

Lindsey608 September 6th, 2008 06:11 PM

Yes, I posted a Thai recipe before. It was pretty good... not spectacular but pretty good :P
