10 pounds!
I started the Dukan Diet on May 30. As of today, June 20, I have lost 10lbs!

It is surprisingly easy and the fact that it works is such a great motivator. My only complaint is that it's expensive to keep buying tons of meat - a person can only handle so many frozen chicken breasts!

I'm down to a size 8 and I think in another 5lbs or so should be able to wear my skinny jeans. I am so excited to hit my goal (and so excited to be DONE with dieting!)

Yay! That's really awesome- If I don't meet my goal by the time I am done nursing I am definitely going to try this out.

You go girl! You are soooo close, just a few more weeks and dieting will be a thing of the past!

Yay Jilly!!! That's great - do you think I can use some of the recipes from that website? I am really not supposed to have ANY additional carbs (there are also SOME in the food they give me), except for veggies. But some of the things look pretty good:)

And I totally hear you on the COST!! The "pitch" guy for this program I'm on says "OH the food basically evens out b/c you don't buy as many groceries, you just buy our food..." UH-huh..their food is pricey, and of course now I'm buying tons of the MOST expensive groceries in the store :rolleyes: I can see why everyone gets overweight in a bad economy.

Em, are you allowed oat bran? That's the only carb I'm allowed to have, and it is a LIFESAVER. What about dairy? We can have fat free dairy so a lot of my recipes include it.

Also I bought organic ketchup sweetened with agave instead of sugar. Check out
www.dukainitout.com, it has some GREAT recipes.
