Summer Care plans

Have you made plans for summer care, if it's different from your norm?

We did Kindercare last year at around $900/m. I was hoping for a cheaper alternative this summer and finally found and got it set! My nextdoor neighbor is going to watch her for $175/wk!!! She has a 5 and 7 year old and a new born and is only taking on one full time kid as she get gets back into inhome daycare so I'm super excited - Maddie LOVES them and she's very trustworthy and a wonderful mom.

Woohoo!

Syd will do Kindercare summer camp as per the usual. This might be her last summer there, once she starts kindergarten we might find a different summer care alternative but then again Sam will still be at Kindercare for another 2 year so IDK, it's not cheap but my kids have both been there since they were teeny tiny and it's what we are comfortable with.

Lilly will be going to the in home daycare with Oliver and Mollie for the few days we work before school starts. That's if we don't give them up as furloughs again...

Aidan will be at his same daycare, just full time instead of his current part time. They take kids up to 6, so we are set until he finishes grade 1. Of course that means my daycare costs go up to pre him starting school, which is about $900 a month, but it's only for two months, so it's all good.

Jacob will be doing the 3 week summer school program at his school. I was going to sign him up for a pre engineering Lego camp that is for 5 days, but it's expensive for only 3 hours a day so we've vetoed that.

I think I am planning to quit working when this baby is born in June, so I haven't decided if I will just keep the girls at home during the summer or if we will send them back to their old preschool for the summer session. It's way cheaper than part time daycare.
