Easter is just a month away.

Have you started to think what you will put in their baskets?

Re: Easter
I don't usually do much of a basket for Cooper and might skip it altogether this year. We leave Easter Sunday for our FL trip so that morning may be a little chaotic. If anything we'll do a small egg hunt inside.

The past years that I've done a basket for him he doesn't seem to care and some of the stuff (pencils, stickers) ends up in the basket the following year.

Re: Easter
We're not really huge on Easter baskets either. The stuff people usually put inside (bubbles, chalk, markers, etc.) they already have so much of from last year, and they have a whole container of Valentine's candy that will probably still be there at Easter.

Also, Easter falls right between Veronika and DH's birthdays so I don't really want another expense. The girls don't care either way if they have an Easter basket or not.

Re: Easter
Like stocking stuffers, I try not to go over board.
My girls have so many coloring books, crayons, bubbles and other little things. Lord knows they don't need anything else.

I'm sure they each will have a chocolate bunny (the smallest I can find). I also bought a few things from the Disney store this week. They were on sale and I had planned on getting them any way. I figure why wait til summer to give it ( Princess flip flops and matching shirts) to them. I may as well use it for their baskets-they will never kn ow the difference. LOL
ThaT'S probably all I will do. Maybe a few other candies but that is a big maybe.

We'll be in Disney on Easter. I'm going to make small baskets and bring them with us. I'll say that the Easter Bunny tracked them down in Disney. I know Ethan would love that. I usually put candy, a movie and books in his basket. I'll probably put a stuffed animal and small stuff in Mason's basket.

Re: Easter
Easter is my favorite holiday. I love it. With that being said, doing a basket for Ava is a bit different than my other kids. She's very restricted on simple sugar intake. I will get her a couple small candy options but the rest will be non-food things.

Re: Easter
So far I have some flip flops, tights and notebooks for my girls. They don't really need anything. We are trying to limit the candy, but we will get them suckers or some sort of small treat to go with the few small gifts.

Re: Easter
I love Easter. I bought all of their stuff this week-candy and stuffies

Re: Easter
We avoid most candy due to a red dye allergy. Kate is allowed one treat a day after dinner if she eats her dinner. She usually picks one hershey's kiss etc. I might get her some of those to go in there. The dollar store and the dollar bins at target are where we get this stuff. Growing up we weren't allowed candy either so we always got things like silly putty. (that was tradition) So she is getting that and some other stuff from the dollar store. Then we will decorate the eggs and then make deviled eggs. YUM

Re: Easter
Its just a couple days after E's birthday. She won't really "need" anything but I do the usually most likely... a book, a small toy and some candy in eggs. Nothing fancy or big :)

Re: Easter
Hugo's also got some food allergies so it's not easy to get candy. We usually do gifts. I've ordered a Stuffie since he's been begging for one. I also got Easter pjs and a book and one small candy egg which was allergy-friendly. Got Sergio the same except for a small craft kit in place of pjs.
