No baby seen on Ultrasound? Scared mommy..
I am pregnant with my first child, daddy and i are super excited! My first clue was dizziness at work last week. Last Friday my period was a day late but i took a test anyway (5 tests to be exact) and it was positive. I saw my OB for the first time yesterday. My last MC started November 1, so the doc estimated me at 5 weeks, 1 day. When he did the pelvic ultraspund, he saw thickening of the uterus, but,no baby yet. He thinks either im even earlier than he thought, or a slight chance its tubal. He ordered a progesterone and quantitive hcg bloodwork test right away, and another for Monday. I have a second u/s next Thursday. My periods have always been out of whack. I can go months on a normal cycle, then months on an abnormal cycle. We are sooo excited for this pregnancy, and now i am terrified that, something is wrong. This next week will be the longest of my life. Does anyone know anything about this, or been thru the same thing? Any advice or info is greatly appreciated!

just saw your post on the new posts thread- at 5 weeks, there is very very little to see on an ultrasound. Not much can be seen until between 6 and 7 weeks in most cases. Try not to stress things out, its still very early on

5 weeks is still very very early to see anything on ultrasound.
