Sleeping longer?
Is anyone elses baby sleeping longer stretches? Jayden took a 6 hour nap yesterday afternoon and just woke up from sleeping 6 hours over night. I am so excited. Before the most he was doing was four hours, I definitely appreciate the extra two hours lol and I am still feeding him 4oz I cant imagine how long he would sleep if I fed him more.

Isn't it great?! The twins usually have a 6-7 hour stretch at night, and it is wonderful!

Re: Sleeping longer?
Eleanor slept started STTN at 4 weeks when she slept 10 hours. Nutso. Now she typically will sleep at least 8 hrs at night. I usually have to wake her up in the morning to take Lila to school. I am very grateful for this sleep as Lila didn't STTN until she was 2 and she still wakes up a few nights a week. That's okay though. Some kids sleep and some kids don't.

Re: Sleeping longer?
My daughter sleeps 6 to 8-1/2 hour stretches at night. She cluster feeds every hour before she goes down for the night and I know that helps. I read that their sleep patterns now will likely remain the same throughout their childhood.

Re: Sleeping longer?
Jett sometimes sleeps 4-6hrs the first stretch at night then it's every 3 after that. The problem is, sometimes these 6hr stretches start at 6 or 7pm :(

Re: Sleeping longer?
Michael sleeps from about 8 or 9 to 3 or 4, then feeds, then sleeps again until about 6 or 7! It's pretty awesome.

There isn't a color green that goes with how jealous I am. Hunter only sleeps in 2-3 hours. Some day...........,

Re: Sleeping longer?
Luyando sleeps very well. Starts sleeping at 6pm. I feed her at around 10pm (while she is sleeping) and she just continues sleeping after eating. She barely wakes up at 3.30am (fusses for food) and goes right back to sleep until 6am. Some days, she wakes up, play for like an hour, starts fussing, eat and goes right back for another hour or 2 naps. She doesn't fully wake up until 8am most days. So, she really sleeps; she has slept through the night couple of nights and not woken up at 3.30am. DD1 too slept and still sleeps well. I am blessed:)

Re: Sleeping longer?
We give Alexandra her bath around 10pm which normally means a bottle follows. We get her to sleep around 11 (although she takes a few naps leading up to the bath; around 4 she finally crashes, she doesn't really sleep much during the day!). The past week she's been getting up around 4-5am to eat. Pretty good stuff!!

Re: Sleeping longer?
Elijah has done a few things early, but sleeping through the night isn't one of them!!! He pretty much does three to four hour stretches at night, sometimes five. It's not bad, but it could be longer. I don't mind it so much, since we co-sleep and he doesn't have to cry to wake me up, he just kicks me over and over until I wake up, LOL. My dh helps with a lot of the night diapers now that Elijah is older, so that makes it easier. Then I just feed him and he quickly falls back to sleep.
