Sippy Cups
How often are you giving baby a sippy cup? Have you found one that baby likes? When do you plan on taking the bottle away from baby and only giving baby a sippy cup?

Jacob uses a sippy cup at snack time when he's at daycare. Most of the time they put in water with just a splash of juice. He seems to be doing really well with the sippy cup. At dinner time I will usually give him a sippy cup with some water or some pumped breastmilk but at home he would rather nurse than drink out of the sippy cup so he doesn't do as well with the cup when he's at home. I plan on trying to take away the bottle when he turns 1 and only giving him a sippy cup. the main time he gets a bottle is during the day at daycare. He is still mainly nursing at home.

Re: Sippy Cups
Kira uses a sippy cup with the nanny on Tuesdays. She absolutely refuses to drink from a bottle with the nanny anymore.

At home, she only nurses (no bottles or cups for milk). Sometimes she gets water in a sippy cup but not very often.

Re: Sippy Cups
Rylynn has had a sippy for water or water/juice for about 4 months. I've only given her formula in it once, and it didn't go well. I plan on transitioning (sp) from a bottle of whole milk when she turns 1 to a sippy with milk...I'm not going to just take it away and that's it, although that may be smarter lol.

Re: Sippy Cups
JR hasn't ever taken a bottle he prefers his milk from the tap!) but he takes a sippy cup like a pro! He doesn't care what one it is or what's in it. He just likes his cup!

Re: Sippy Cups
Logan does really well with his sippy cup. He still get a bottle when we give him his milk, but that's it. I plan on taking the bottle out of the picture completely after his first birthday.
