Normal breast pain?
I am quite small chested so I dont really suffer from much breast pain/tenderness pregnant or not simply due to the fact there isnt much their to hurt I guess :p I dont remember anymore with my son but I get some sharp twinge pains now and then recently though around the breast. Its sharp but gone very quickly. Is this normal? Also I feel like there is a harder node feeling thing around the nipples and I have no idea if that was there before, is this normal? I had a breast exam when I went for my first appointment at like 7-8 weeks and everything was normal then. I have an appointment coming up so Ill mention it to my Dr but just wanted to check if everything was ok. Thanks!

Re: Normal breast pain?
I get the sharp twinges (or shooting pains) through my breasts, have since right before I got my BFP. I also had them pre-pregnancy and during PMS or ovulation. Normal!

I would imagine the lump is nothing to worry about, and probably due to hormonal boob changes, but I would definitely bring that one up to your DR when you go just in case :)

Re: Normal breast pain?
I would bring it up at your next Dr. appointment to be sure, but you can actually get little clogged milk ducts already during pregnancy and its pretty common. It could be that...

My breasts have been killing me lately too! Sharp pains and just plain achey.

Re: Normal breast pain?
i have those sharp pains all the time! i still have incredibly sore boobies...the knot is probably those milk ducts expanding to make room for milk but it never hurts to ask:)
