Qotd: 4/4
Are you hoping to breastfeed, formula feeding, or mixture of both?
(Ladies, please don't turn this into a "hot" topic, it's just a general question)

I bf'ed with my son for 8 months until I dried up because of extreme stress I was going through at the time. I'm hoping for 2 years this time.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
Lol I am still breastfeeding my 9 month old. I'm afraid I'm going to feel like a zombie here in a few weeks. What with 2 babies to zap all of my energy out of me lol. I might end up tandem nursing. It just depends on if DS decides to wean himself before then or not. I doubt he will though, he's so clingy lol.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
I'm going to try and breastfeed. I did formula with DD and I felt I missed out on a different bonding experience.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
I will be pumping. I was able to give my son my milk for 6 weeks before we had to switch to formula due to his health issues and later we discovered bad allergy to egg (which was all i was eating for breakfast).

Re: Qotd: 4/4
I tried so hard with both my girls and I just never produced enough milk. I will definitely try again. Hoping third times a charm ;)

Re: Qotd: 4/4
Still unsure but thinking formula because I had a lot of trouble with my first son and was under so much stress. My 2nd son was formula fed and it was a much more pleasant experience.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
Breastfeed. If for any reason I cannot obviously.formula, but definitely prefer the breastfeeding. For those with nursing issues have you ever tried fenugreek.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
I would like to breastfeed. I'm not opposed to formula if I need to use it, of course, but I'll try my best to BF.

ChicaChels April 5th, 2013 05:03 PM

I'm still Breastfeeding hunter, he's almost 2. I Breastfed brylie for 15m (she self weaned when I was pregnant). I expect I will Breastfeed this one for over a year, too. If I was unable to Breastfeed or pump my own milk, we would use donor milk. Not formula :)

HeartHelloKitty April 5th, 2013 09:12 PM

Breastfeeding for us. I breastfed dd until she was 2.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
BF for as long as possible... Depending on whether I decide to start working this year or wait until the next school year. I will pump if I return to work.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
BF until my LO self weans- or until the army drags me off. With my DS I breastfed about 10-11 months and used the stock of pumped BM until he was 1, when we switched to whole milk. He self weaned because I had to go away with the army for over 2 weeks and he got used to the bottle and didn't want me any more. Broke my heart! This one I'm BF as long as I can :)

Re: Qotd: 4/4
Breast feeding. I breast fed all of my children for 18 months except my third daughter. She breast fed for 10 months, only because my milk dried up. I think it was from the Mirena IUD.

Re: Qotd: 4/4
I will try my best to bf, but will switch to pumping and formula if necessary.
