Varicose veins or spider veins?
Anyone notice these since finding out you are pregnant?

I have had a small one on one of my legs that I have noticed has seemed to stick out more now?? But I have noticed some spider looking ones on my thigh now that were not there before. Being im a fluffy girl I am not gonna be in a bathing suit, but it makes me feel like im losing all hope of ever losing weight and looking great. :p

I noticed a little new spider vein in my leg. I really don't wanna start wearing compression socks, but I guess I might. :(

I notice a few more prominant veins while pregnant, last time it was in the winter so no one else saw them but me. Hopefully it won't be too hot of a summer!

I have spider veins...I'm just like "Eh..." it happens. I think of it as the price I pay to get pregnant and I'm okay with that. Maybe drink more water? Yucky I know but...maybe it'll help?

Will spider veins go away?

Re: Varicose veins or spider veins?
I've read if you want them gone you have to get saline solution injected into them if they won't go away on their own. I won't do this, but I also took away from that if you'd drink more water, it might help stop more from happening. I also found written on a message forum that if you work out your legs they'll slowly fade. Also, causes include pregnancy, crossing your legs for prolonged periods of time and standing for prolonged periods of time. Support hose were reported to help also as well as Vitamin E. I'm no expert though...
