Fetal development: The third trimester - MayoClinic.com

Many of us are 28 weeks or more now, so that means if by some chance our LO's wanted to come now they would have a 90 percent chance of survival without physical or neurological impairment. That is so awesome. It is now time to be able to breathe a sigh of relief.... whew.

Even though I have never gone into labor before my due date. It always makes me feel so much better to hit this point!

Re: I really liked reading this
I went into labor at 37.5 weeks with my first, so it didn't bother me at all since I will still full term. Honestly I wonder if my dates were messed up with him because I had NO clue when my last period was. I told them that I thought it was somwhere around valentines day, but I really didn't remember. I didn't figure that I was pregnant with him until April. They put him due on November 14th, but I had him October 28th.
I like getting to this point too, it really seems to take a lot of stress off of you.

My friend had her little guy at 28-29 weeks. I remember how tiny he was in pictures. I cannot imagine baby coming now. But it is awesome how even at that point they can do so well!
