If she isn't having breathing issues and the medicine isn't helping I would be asking for a second opinion. Poor thing shouldn't have to suffer like that. I am not a dr but I would think that there is possibly another cause. Have you asked your dr about some of the other causes? Have you asked to see a pulmonologist? Sometimes a more specialized dr can help find something that a family practice or pediatric dr missed.
My son suffers from bronchitis and asthma. And for us the treatments worked. Which is what makes me think there is something else going on with your daughter.
