I can sympathize with you. My DH was not as interested in my pregnancy with Megan as he was with Jayna. He kept telling me that it was just that he was busy being a dad to Jayna and that he was excited to be having another baby, but that a kick is a kick, etc..... I think they don't get how special it is to be carrying a child. They don't get the bond that we do until the baby is born, then they are in love too. After I had Megan I went through a process, for a few days, of feeling regret about my tubal ligation and almost grieving for the fact that my baby making days were over and he just couldn't understand why I was such a mess. So I think it just means so much more to us than it does them, not that they aren't interested or in love with their child, they just see it in a different way.... kwim?

I am very glad that your contractions stopped and everything turned out well. Baby needs to bake for a while longer! GL and know you have your JM mommies to help you through the lonely days!
