Last night was my daugther's dance recital.....I had so so much fun.
She ran right up to me and gave me a big hug and gave Matthew a big hug
. We were chatting before the recital and one of her friends yelled "come on, we have to go" and she replies "hold on, I'm hanging out with my Birth Mom!" that was the first time I've actually heard those words come from her mouth, it was pretty cool!
The recital was great, she looked so cute and did a great job. Afterwards she introduced me to everyone, and didn't want to leave my side. She showed me around backstage, and played with Matthew. It was so so great. Her sister and Dad were not there, they are on a camping trip with the youth group (her Dad is a youth pastor) so it was nice to have some 1 on 1 time with her Mom. Overall a great night!
