I'm still in the hospital, DH was nice enough to bring my laptop to me & i discovered they actually have internet here for me to get on! lol. Well, I went into early labor with Alex on Wednesday night & went through 17hrs of labor before he was born on Thursday afternoon. By far the longest labor out of both of my kids & also the biggest!!! I'm still in shock that he was so big for being 4wks early!!! And i was measuring completely on time, right dates, but my goodness, he would have been about 9lbs if i had made it to my due date! Little Alex is doing great, he had to spend all of his first day in the ICN unit b/c he was having trouble breathing a bit, but they think he was still out of it from the Fentanyl they gave me during labor, but he's doing well and at midnight was allowed to room with me, we won't be able to go home until tomorrow, hopefully, as they wanna monitor him for 1 more day, his jaundice levels are a lil high, but not enough for billi lights, but they wanna recheck his levels again in the morning, and he will have his circumcision done. We are bottle feeding, i was going to try for breasfeeding, attempted to, but it just wasn't working out, he wouldn't latch and i was so tired from labor and no sleep, that i'm just sticking to formula, he's much happier. :]
