1. where do you fold your laundry?
On my bed or the couch. I have a laundry folding table in the basement, but I can't watch the kids from there while I fold, so I bring it upstairs to fold.
2. do you have a schedule you follow for washing/drying laundry? ie. bedding on Sundays, whites on Mondays, etc.??
I used to, but now I try to do 1 load per day or every other day, except on weekends I do no laundry. I try to put a load in in the morning, switch it at lunch (because we're almost always home for lunch), and then take it out and fold during Mary's nap. I put it away immediately. DH's clean laundry gets piled up at the bottom of his closet (out of sight) for when he gets home, or gets to it.
3. do you maintain loads by color ? by gender for easy folding and putting away ?
I have a hamper with three partitions in the master bedroom for darks/mediums, whites, and towels/sheets. Then I have a hamper for the kids. Except any white clothing for the kids go into my whites pile. I alternate the loads as they fill up. So whites today, darks tomorrow, kids clothes the next day, then whites, etc. I do sheets/towels a little less frequently than everything else.
