So we used a Soothie for DD1 and still use it for Logan. DD1 wouldn't take anything else. Logan is not a huge binky baby and only uses it to fall asleep. I honestly don't see an issue if the babies are giving them up and their not using them 24/7. My dentist didn't have any concerns at all about it. Linz gave hers up at just over 2 years old and because we only used the newborn Soothies, it was small for her mouth by that time and she mainly chewed on it, rather than sucked on it. She has great teeth so far. I'm just not sure I buy totally into allt hat hype. Just my 2 cents.
