I feel that I am in the minority with this. Many of my friends as well as DH's friends leave their child with other people for extended periods of time. Extended time being anywhere from overnight to a week. For example, my DH came home tonight and told me that a coworker left their young daughter with their sister for a few days to have a break.
I have never left DS for more than a few hours. I I left my DD for a week with my parents and in-laws to go on a late honeymoon with DH but rarely besides that. What about you? Have you left your LO or LOs for an extended period of time? I guess I feel that it is my responsibility to raise my children, which includes having them all of the time.
