I did plan my two natural births.

My transitional contractions were the tough ones and the pushing with #1 was hard but because I was flat on my back and never felt like I had my footing so to speak. The crowning of #1's head was odd feeling. It felt like he was coming the wrong way out. But it wasn't painful. Pushing did take the edge off of my contractions. With baby #2 the baby just eased out so well that I would have to say that transition was again the worst of it.

I enjoyed my births though. I think the after stuff was really the hard part. It takes me so long to heal afterwards from pregnancy and birth. I just feel like I wilt. Hoping that won't happen the next time.
