IMO what to expect is a bunch of garbage lol I suppose if youknow wihch parts to take and which parts ot leave, its ok - but there are so many better books out there! WTE is far more medically minded and seems to try to convince moms that labor is just a disaster waiting to happen in some cases.

I used the bradley book to teach my son - the illustrations were good, and I love the way they refer to things. The cervix as the "door" to the uterus, the uterus as a big bag of muscles. It really helped my son understand. And they also use the "turtleneck" representation - which helped him understand what was going on too.
