So for those of you that didn't know, Toby was born with a lump in his left eye. Its nothing massive and in the corner, kind of near his tear duct. We had his first consultation today at Great Ormond Street to try and see if we can get it figured out. So they guy was really nice but not so helpful. Basically, he says he doesn't think it appears to be growing, which is good. He says theres a possibility it could be a few different things, but he doesn't think its harmful, which again is good. Its possible its just like a cyst, or it could be a small collection of blood vessels. Anyway, he wants us to have a CT scan so they can see it properly, which is very scary. I'm not so happy about letting my tiny baby have a CT scan but I know its necessary to find out what is wrong with him. So now we have to wait for the date to come through when that can happen. I have a feeling this is going to be a very long process!
