I do my best to RSVP when it's requested. I know I can forget at times so I tend to leave it for the last minute. I remember when I had sent out the invites for the wedding, I had put postage on the return envelope so that people didn't have an excuse not to RSVP. Wouldn't you know I still had to chase some people down?! I was so annoyed. It's not like it was some informal party, this was my wedding that I was hosting at a venue.
But anywho, I think people just forget for the most part and others just don't care to respond.
