I'm having surgery tomorrow and DS Lyric is EBF (meaning no other form of milk) with solids @ 6.5m.

I only have one bottle of milk for him pumped. My supply recently crashed so pumping since I found out about my surgery (monday) combined with all the pumping I'm doing today = 1 bottle of milk. I'm not planning on pumping and dumping fot the 24 hours after, I'm going to ask for the anestesia they give the emergency c/s patients and should be able to nurse right away. BUT theres still going to be about 6-8 hours where I'm being prepped, operated on (3 hours) and waking up/vomiting since I don't do well with general anestesia.

I don't want to give him formula for multiple reasons one being his hive reaction to corn. And corn syrup is one of the main ingrediants. and it's only going to be like 3 bottles so...I'm thinking of giving him goat milk...just plain goat milk. Do you think thats a bad idea? wwyd? I've already tried to find pumped bm, I'm going to post on my FB again in hopes to find some but it isn't looking promising...

opinions?
