It went very well for us. Daniel actually got into opening gifts and enjoyed spending the majority of the time with everyone this year. The kids got spoiled of course. I got more than I knew about and even DH got a few things. We had/have some great food and everyone was out of my house by 2pm xmas day. The kids helped put their toys and clothes away and MIL helped me clean before she left. Since then we've all been lazing about in our new pajamas and taking things easy.
