I had 1 son in the hospital and she asked me about every 5 minutes. I use to Doula as well and have worked in 2 hospitals and they would constantly ask the women, even those who said don't ask me. 90% of births are with pain meds, but there are more than 10% of women who want to go med free, but the obstacles set up against them sometimes make that hard to impossible.
