I'm going to have to disagree with the other ladies (sorry!). Passing tissue does not necessarily indicate that you are having a miscarriage, as I've had that happen whenever I have had a particularly heavy period (including before I started having sex). If you have an abnormally long amount of time between menstruation that would cause the uterine lining to build up more, so you would see more tissue when you did have your period.


As far as your question, there really isn't any way to know without the doctor doing a blood test to see if you have any residual hcg in your system, or possibly an ultrasound but I don't think that would be helpful at this point. I'm sorry.
