My daughter (27 mo.) is still in a crib. Everyone has been badgering me to get her into a toddler bed, but I don't really know why I should rush. I was thinking I would wait a few more months before switching her. So far, she has been really easy to transition out of things (like taking her binkie away at 2, her bottle at 1, etc.) so I don't really think it's going to be any big deal.[/b]

I read somewhere that as long as they are fine, leave them in the crib. It is safer and they are more contained.

DS went to a full size bed 2 weeks before he turned 2. We have bed rails on it. He love it, falls asleep just fine and naps in it. Sleeps through the night by himself 50% of the time, other time he comes in to our room and sleeps the rest of the night with us.
